ULTRA FUEGO lat pull down attachment is designed for the ULTRA FUEGO power cage. If the power cage or rack you currently have is not the one from our brand ULTRA FUEGO, please contact us before purchasing this lat pull down attachment. Here are the factors that will affect the applicability of the lat pull down attachment:(1)Please check the height of your power cage. The ULTRA FUEGO power cage has vertical frames with the height 81’’(205cm), and the height of the lat pull down attachment measured from the top is 81’’(205cm) as well. If you power cage is higher or lower than the ULTRA FUEGO one, the lat pull down attachment will not fit. (2)Please check if your power cage has the top frame and connection bolt holes at the lower cross beam. Be sure that there are 2 bolt holes at the lower cross beam(the beam that used to connect 2 base frames or stabilizers), or you will not be able to attach the lat pull down attachment to your power cage. And be sure that your power cage has a top frame to connect the rear vertical frames, or the upper frame of the lat pull down attachment will not be able to be fixed securely. To be specific, the distance between the 2 bolt holes is 3.15’’(8cm), and the height of the top frame measured from the top of it is 78.2’’(200.5cm). The above 2 points are the major factors that the power cage you have must meet at the same time. For your safety, we suggest you not to modify, cut or drill holes on your equipment to add the lat pull down attachment. If you have made check of the 2 points but still don’t know if the lat pull down attachment will work for your power cage, or if you don’t know the parts that we mentioned above, or if you have any assembly issue, please contact us and we are more than willing to help. Common Troubleshooting Steps1.Cables or pulley covers get stuck or damaged when using the pulley system Possible reasons: ① User incorrectly attach the upper cable(part number 28#) and lower cable(part number 29#). ② The upper cable is routed incorrectly. Troubleshooting steps & solution: ① Check if the upper cable and lower cable are attached incorrectly. The upper cable is much longer than the lower cable. The user can remove the 2 cables from the pulley system, and then put them on the ground to identify which one is the upper cable and which one is the lower cable. Be sure to attach the longer upper cable to the upper part of the pulley system. ②Check if the upper cable is correctly routed above the upper frame(part number 1#). The upper frame has 2 opening parts for attaching & fixing the pulley wheels. The routing of the upper cable should be outside and above the 2 opening parts, that’s to say, the upper cable should not go inside the upper frame. Or the coating of the cables will be damaged. The user can step on a ladder to have a close check of the opening parts and the upper cable to make sure the routing is correct. 2.Cables are too loose to use or not smooth enough. Possible reasons: ① User doesn't adjust the lower M10x40 Allen bolt(part number 23#) on the pulley brackets(part number 4#). ②The bushing inside the weight plate holder(part number 3#) is damaged. ③ The cables and pulley wheels have dust piled up on them. Troubleshooting steps & solution: ① Check if the M10x40 Allen bolt has been adjusted to the suitable bolt hole of the pulley brackets. The way the accessories such straight handle and ankle strap being attached will affect the length of the lower cable. If the user finds the cables are too loose to use, he or she can move the lower M10x40 Allen bolt on the pulley brackets upwards to the second or third bolt hole counted from the bottom, tighten the bolt and aircraft nuts and test if the tightness is suitable for the following training. This way can adjust the cable to be tighter. ② Check the bushing inside the weight plate holder. The weight plate holder has a rubber bushing inside, which help this part glide on smoothly. If the user feels that the pulley system is not smooth enough and applying lubricant such as WD40 will not help, he or she can remove the weight plate holder from the vertical frame of the lat pull down attachment to make a close check. If the rubber bushing inside is deformed or damaged, the entire weight plate holder has to be replaced. ③ Check the condition of the cables and pulley wheels. For long time use, it is normal that the dust in the air gets piled up on the cables and pulley wheels. We suggest the user to clean up the cables and pulley wheels with cleaning cloth regularly and then apply the WD40 to the cables for smooth training experience.
