- BUILCRA roofing insulation plates can engineered reinforcing ribs design provides maximum wind uplift rating 22 ga.Galvalume steel provides increased protection against corrosion.
- Membrane fasteners must penetrate steel decks a minimum of 19mm(3/4").Using a screw gun,drive the fastener until a slight depression is seen around the plate,or with very rigid boards,watch for the plate to dimple.Note:Care must be taken not to overdrive the fastener and fracture the skin of the insulation.The fastener must be tight enough so that the plate does not turn.Factory Mutual requires that the fastener penetrate the steel deck at the top flute.
