Provides thumb immobilization in a wraparound style that's a crowd pleaser. Two stays that can be changed out in the pocket located on the top side of the thumb to create more or less support as needed. Patients appreciate the elastic assistance pull-closure strap that's used to secure the brace around your wrist using just one hand. Once applied, the wrap portion can then be wrapped around properly in seconds. Whereas most thumb supports are simply stitched along the thumb only, Melco tape is applied down the length of the seam on this model. This eliminates the possibility of the stitch unraveling with repeated daily usage, and also makes for a comfortable, non-irritating seam along the thumb. The brace provides a low profile fit and goes an extra step in ensuring a more comfortable design that's liked by patients and physicians.
